Sent His Son

God Sent His Son

The apostle Paul wrote, “Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners” 1Tim 1:15.
Jesus told Pilate, “You say that I am a king. To this end was I born,
and for this cause I came into the world” John 18:37.
Then those men, when they had seen the miracle that Jesus did [when He fed the 5000], said, “This is of a truth that prophet that should come into the world” John 6:14; Deut 18:18.

But where did Jesus come from?
Nicodemus knew. “You are a teacher come from God” John 3:2.
“In the fullness of time, God sent forth His Son, born of a woman” Gal 4:4.
The arrival of God's Son into the world had been prophesied.
“Unto us a child is born; unto us a Son is given” Isaiah 9:6.

But when he came to his own and he called God his Father, they accused him of blasphemy. They said, “You, being a man, make yourself God” John 10:33.
Jesus explained. “Say you of him, whom the Father has sanctified, and sent into the world, You blaspheme; because I said, I am the Son of God?” John 10:36. Jesus was already sanctified as the Son of God when God, his Father, sent him into the world.

Martha had it right. “She said to him, Yes, Lord: I believe that you are the Christ,
the Son of God, which should come into the world.” John 11:27.

John knew where Jesus came from. “In this was manifested the love of God toward us, because that God sent His only-begotten Son into the world, that we might live through Him.” 1John 4:9 quoted 35 times by Ellen White.
“God...sent his Son to be the propitiation for our sins” 1John 4:10 she quoted 70 times.
When God sent His Son into the world, he was already His Son.

“God sent not His Son into the world to condemn the world” John 3:17
But (God sent His Son into the world) that the world through him might be saved” verse 18.

“when he [God] brings in the firstbegotten into the world, he said, And let all the angels of God worship him” Heb 1:6. Did the angels only begin to worship Christ after he was brought into the world? No. The Son of God shared his Father's glory “before the world was” John 17:5.
